From Buffalo (Fort Erie Peace Bridge)
-
The basic concept is this, starting in Niagara Falls you go
around Lake Ontario to Toronto.
- once across the border get onto the QUEEN ELIZABETH WAY also
known as the QEW
- at first you will be going WEST along the soutn edge of Lake
Ontario towards HAMILTON
- at HAMILTON you have reached the western end of Lake Ontario,
just stay on the QEW and continue NORTH-EAST to TORONTO
- as you approach Toronto the QEW turns into the GARDINER EXPRESSWAY
- continue east along the GARDINER EXPRESSWAY until you reach
a cut off for SPADINA AVE., if you hit YONGE ST. you've gone too
far
- go NORTH on SPADINA, if you go south you'll be in the lake very
quickly
- continue NORTH on SPADINA to BLOOR ST. WEST
- turn left on BLOOR ST. WEST, we are at 529 BLOOR ST. WEST, about
6 blocks west of SPADINA AVE. on the south side
-
From Detroit / Windsor (Ambassador Bridge or Tunnel)
-
Basically you are getting on HIGHWAY 401 ( also known as The
MacDonald-Cartier Freeway ) and heading EAST to Toronto. The
drive should take about 4 hours.
- from the AMBASSADOR BRIDGE take Highway 3 to the 401
- OR from the AMBASSADOR TUNNEL take Highway 3B to the 401
- head EAST on HIGHWAY 401 for about 200 miles
- just inside Metropolitan Toronto there will be a cutoff onto
HIGHWAY 427, head SOUTH on the 427 until you reach THE QUEEN ELIZABETH
WAY
- head EAST on THE QUEEN ELIZABETH WAY which will shortly turn
into the GARDINER EXPRESSWAY
- continue EAST along the GARDINER EXPRESSWAY until you reach
a cut off for SPADINA AVE., if you hit YONGE ST. you've gone too
far
- head NORTH on SPADINA AVE., if you go south you'll be in the
lake
- continue NORTH on SPADINA to BLOOR ST. WEST
- turn left on BLOOR ST. WEST, we are at 529 BLOOR ST. West.,
about 6 blocks west of SPADINA AVE. on the south side
